Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist Intense Deluxe Edition

Jurlique recently introduced a new deluxe edition of its award winning rosewater balancing mist in a beautiful pink bottle filled with words of empowerment. This is Jurlique's third deluxe edition which has been created to support the Jurlique Ideas of Beauty Fund, established in 2012 to help enrich the lives of girls and women globally.
Find out more about Ideas of Beauty Fund here

The deluxe edition contains 3 key ingredients:
1) Limited edition blend of 5 rose extracts: Rosa Gallica, Rosa Centifolia, Hibiscus Rosa Sinensis, Rosa Canina and Rosa Multiflora. These precious extracts help to condition, hydrate, soothe and balance the skin.
2) Marshmallow extract which has the ability to draw  moisture from the environment, to provide intensive hydrating and softening properties that rebalance dryness on the skin.
3) Aloe Vera that helps to soothe, rebalance dryness and calm delicate skin

This deluxe edition has a more intense rose scent as compared to the regular ones, but without it being overwhelming. I like to use this as a toner, as part of my skincare regime. I also like to mist this one my face whenever I feel like my skin is tight and dry.

For every purchase of the intense deluxe edition, you will be contributing to the Ideas of Beauty Fund.
So this winter, why not act beautiful and be beautiful.

Review: Benefit ChaCha Balm & Fresh Sugar Tulip Lip Treatment

As the days get colder here in Sydney, I feel like my lips feel a lot drier than usual. During Winter season, I find myself reaching out for lip balms, more so than lipsticks. Tinted ones are my fav as I find that they are a lot easier to apply and help to protect your lip from the harsh cold wind.
A trip back to Asia is always exciting because I look forward to stocking up new beauty products. In this trip, I found 2 new lip products worth writing a review for.

Can we please take a moment and admire at the packaging please..
Benefit's newly launched lip balms are so pretty I have a hard time deciding which one to get. There are a total of 4 lip balms in this collection, I was tempted to buy all 4 trust me. These lip balms are supposed to go with their famous tints (Benetint, Posietint, Lollitint and Chachatint), but you can definitely just use these lip balms on its own! These adorable babies contain mango butter as well as sodium hyaluronate which helps to hydrate your puckers, giving you soft sexy lips.

I went with Chacha balm because I don't own an orange coloured lip balm and I'm really quite happy with my choice. This does not leave much of a colour though, slight tinge of orange and extremely moisturising. Feels very light on the lips and tastes yummy too!  I reckon this colour will work well if you are going makeup heavy on the eyes.

I have always been a fan of the Fresh Sugar lip treatments. My favourites are Rose and Berry. Tulip is the latest colour and it is a gorgeous. Like all their lip treatments, this lip balm glides onto your lips like a dream, creamy and non sticky. The colour comes off as a bright pink, perfect for Spring or when you wanna put on that happy colour to brighten up your cold winter day.

Thanks for reading and have a great weekend everyone xx

Benefit Chacha balm retails for SGD29
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Tulip retails for SGD33
Both products can be bought at Sephora, Singapore
*For those in Australia, Benefit lip balms will be available soon...

May Bellabox Review

My partner in crime, Rachel, has decided to gift me with a 6 months Bellabox subscription as my belated birthday gift. How appropriate, don't you think?! For those of you who are not familiar with Bellabox, it is a monthly subscription service that allows you to sample beauty and lifestyle products. For $15 a month, you will receive around 5-6 products which are chosen to suit your skin/hair types, genius!

Click http://bellabox.com.au/ if you are interested (:

May's beauty box is adorable! It comes packaged in a travel theme, Come Fly with Me. It even comes with a Jetstar boarding pass! The beauty box contained a facial mask, cleansing conditioner, tinted moisturiser, clear brow gel, chapstick, and a beauty soap bar.

This post will be my reviews on the respective items.

Timeless Truth Herbal Rejuvenation Immortelle Mask

This mask is said to nourish, hydrate and stimulate the skin, helping to reduce fine lines, dryness as well as some blemishes. This mask is soaked with glorious essence, and after applying it for a good 20mins, my skin feels so soft and firm that I can't stop touching it! Of course, I can't say much after just one use, but I know I'm definitely buying more of these!

Wen by Chaz Dean Cleansing Conditioner in Sweet Almond Mint

This cleansing conditioner is said to hydrate and replenish hair without stripping its natural oils, providing added moisture, strength and sheen. The texture of my hair, is extremely fine. And that is mainly the reason why I don't like using hair conditioners. I feel that when I use it, my hair becomes extremely soft, to the point that it looked limp. Of course, I was a little apprehensive when it comes to trying this conditioner, but I thought, why not....

This conditioner actually smells and feels wonderful. The texture is very creamy, but when you apply it onto your hair, it doesn't feel as oily as compared to other conditioners? If that makes any sense... It says here on the sachet to repeat, but I chose not to because I'm afraid that if I did, I might look like I've just rebounded my hair... So I washed it out in warm water (because its winter here and I don't wanna freeze) and left it to air dry.

The result : Hair feels soft, but not weighed down. Sure, my hair is pretty much still limp, but hey, at least its hydrated! I would definitely recommend this product.

Invisible Zinc Tinted Daywear SPF30+ in Light

This product is supposed to be some kinda 3-in-1 sunscreen and beauty solution. The benefits include, hydrating, anti ageing, as well as high UVA and UVB protection.

Upon application, this products smells weird, I personally don't like how it smells, NO. The coverage of this tinted moisturiser is pretty sheer, and also kinda greasy, but nothing a concealer and setting powder can't fix. I would probably stick to my bb cream as an everyday base for the face, but I do think this product would be ideal for beach junkies out there!

If you do give this product a try, let me know what you think!

Appelles Rosemary Body Bar

I have never been a fan of body bars. So, evidently I wasn't very thrilled when I saw this inside the beauty box. I finished using my shower gel awhile ago and had forgotten to buy a new one, so I thought I'd give this body bar a try. This soap is made out of the finest Australian certified organic essential oils that is both refreshing and soothing. It hydrates my skin without leaving the icky oily feeling, and the lovely scent of eucalyptus and lemon kinda calms me down. I personally like to use this at night before I go bed.

Try this, and you will understand why everyone is loving it.

Chapstick Lip Conditioner

Chapstick. An oldie but a goodie. Moisturises, soothes and prevents chapped lips. It is good..but there are many other lip conditioners out there that does the same job, in a much prettier packaging. Yep....

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel - Clear

YES!! I've been using this clear brow gel for ages now and I sure was excited when I saw the mini version in the box! This brow gel keeps my eyebrows in place all day, and I would definitely recommend this. If price is an issue however, you can always use a clear mascara as a brow gel (:

Hope this review is useful! If you would like to purchase any of the items above, I believe you are able to do so via the bellabox website, or at local pharmacies (:
Have a great
